Advanced Behavioral Modification/Aggression

Welcome to Our Advanced Behavioral Modification & Aggression Lessons

A specialized training program designed for dogs with extreme anxiety, aggression, and other complex behavioral issues, led by GoodBoy founder, Benjamin McGill. These exclusive lessons are crafted to provide in-depth guidance and personalized attention to help your dog navigate their most challenging behaviors.

What Are Advanced Behavioral Modification & Aggression Lessons?

Our Advanced Behavioral Modification & Aggression Lessons are designed for dogs struggling with significant behavioral issues, including extreme anxiety and severe aggression. These lessons go beyond traditional training, offering an in-depth, therapeutic approach to address the root causes of these behaviors. Led by Benjamin McGill, these sessions utilize advanced behavioral analysis, data tracking, and customized behavior support plans to ensure that your dog receives the attention and training they need for lasting change.

Unlike our Aggression & Reactivity Lessons, which are focused on addressing immediate aggressive behaviors such as growling, biting, or reactivity toward other dogs, the Advanced Behavioral Modification Lessons are for dogs facing complex, deep-seated issues. These include dogs who may not have responded to standard training or are dealing with severe anxiety, fear-based aggression, or behavioral patterns that require a more nuanced approach.

What Does It Include?

  • Personalized Assessment & Behavioral Analysis – Each dog is unique, and the first step in our program is a thorough evaluation of your dog’s behavior, history, and triggers. Through this detailed behavioral analysis, we dive deep into identifying the root causes of anxiety or aggression, looking at patterns, triggers, and environmental factors that contribute to these behaviors. This serves as the foundation for creating a customized training plan specific to your dog’s needs.

  • Data Tracking & Behavior Support Plans – To ensure effective progress, we incorporate data tracking throughout the training process. This helps us monitor your dog’s behaviors and responses, allowing us to make data-driven adjustments to the training plan when needed. With this approach, we can better pinpoint what’s working and what may need further modification. Additionally, we develop a Behavior Support Plan to outline specific strategies for managing and addressing your dog’s behavior outside of lessons, ensuring continued improvement at home and in public.

  • Advanced Behavioral Therapy Techniques – In these lessons, we utilize evidence-based behavioral therapy methods to promote lasting change. Techniques such as positive reinforcement, desensitization, and counterconditioning are employed to help your dog manage extreme anxiety and aggression. By gradually changing their emotional responses to triggers, we focus on creating long-term, positive shifts in behavior.

  • One-on-One Attention – With limited availability for each client, these lessons offer highly personalized attention, ensuring Benjamin McGill is able to closely guide you and your dog through the process. You’ll receive ongoing support and consistent adjustments to the training plan to address your dog’s evolving needs.

The Difference Between Aggression & Reactivity Lessons and Advanced Behavioral Modification Lessons

While both programs aim to address problematic behaviors, the Advanced Behavioral Modification Lessons are for dogs with severe or chronic anxiety and complex aggression. These dogs may exhibit deeper behavioral issues that require a more therapeutic and intensive approach.

Our Aggression & Reactivity Lessons focus on dogs displaying immediate aggressive behaviors, such as barking, lunging, or growling in response to triggers. These lessons are often reactive and provide strategies for addressing and managing these behaviors in real time.

On the other hand, the Advanced Behavioral Modification Lessons are designed for dogs with underlying issues that often require in-depth behavior modification over a more extended period. These lessons are more preventive and proactive, involving data analysis, behavioral therapy, and support plans that address both triggers and coping mechanisms for long-term behavioral change.

Why Choose Advanced Behavioral Modification & Aggression Lessons?

  • Expert Guidance – With Benjamin McGill’s expertise in behavioral therapy, you can trust that your dog is receiving the highest level of care and attention.

  • Comprehensive Approach – This program takes a holistic approach, addressing not just the behavior, but the underlying causes through data-driven analysis, behavioral therapy techniques, and personalized support.

  • Limited Availability – Due to the intensive nature of these lessons and the personalized care offered, enrollment is limited to ensure each dog gets the attention they need.

  • Results-Oriented – These lessons focus on lasting change by addressing the root causes of anxiety and aggression. Through behavioral therapy, data tracking, and a customized approach, our goal is to create tangible results that improve your dog’s behavior and overall well-being.
